After Kasturi on Star Plus, vivacious actress Sudha Chandran has made her way through another Balaji show. We are talking about her new stint in Kya Dil Main Hai on 9X. She is essaying the role of politician in the serial.

“I’m playing a role of a politician and there is some suspense element with my entry in the show,” says Sudha.

Elaborating on her character, she explains, “Rajeshwari is the name of the character. She is a strong matriarch who is a powerful politician and wants her daughter Devi (Papiya Sen Gupta) to step in and take over her legacy.”

Definitely the suspense is connected to Kakul (Abigail) and Devi but I can’t reveal anything currently. For now, I’m enjoying my stint in both Balaji’s show,” she adds further.

Is it a cameo or a full-fledged role? “Well, as you know in dailies, nothing could be certain. I’m just doing my work,” she chirps.

Beside that, Sudha is busy with her new found love – a theatre play called Misal Pao. “I’m exploring new genres with television shows, theatre and Bollywood,” states the actress.

There are plans for Bollywood for the actress but at the moment she is tight lipped about it saying, “Let the right time come and I’ll reveal everything.”
