When it comes to mentoring new generation on the sets of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Sakshi Tanwar is the mother of all. The actress who has been at the centre stage of Balaji Telefilms’ Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii with her portrayal of Parvati, has been a true source of inspiration for the new generation of the show.

This time, Sakshi has newcomer Jeetu Malkani aka Pranay of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii under her wings. Jeetu entered the show a few months back after the generation leap. But, for him it was a weak start and Ekta Kapoor was not happy with his performance. In fact, episode directors warned him on several occasions to perform or else…

Cut to the present, the actor has improved considerably. Says Jeetu, “Sakshi ma’am, being one of the senior actors, has been a constant source of inspiration for me. She always helps me with acting tips. I am really thankful to her. I have got a very good response from my director and the entire crew for the recent change in acting,”

Sakshi prefers to keep a low profile, but is the first to reach out to her on-screen family. “Although she is a big star, she is very down-to-earth and always helpful. And the suggestions are spontaneous,” Jeetu says.
