Romit Raj who plays Yuvraaj in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan has injured his leg while rehearsing for the upcoming Platinum Awards. The actor was to open the proceedings. “I was going to be a part of the opening act. However while I was practicing I fell down and injured my leg. I have sprained my ankle and my back is hurting a lot too,” informs Rohit who is now nursing his injury.The injury has now forced Romit to pull out of the awards ceremony scheduled for the weekend in Dubai.“So now I have backed out of the performance due to my leg. Now I will I guess only attend the ceremony if I will get a time to go there,” says the actor.
Nupur Alankar who plays Halki in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan (Zee TV) is having some serious domestic trouble. Her husband Alankar Shrivastava wants a baby but she is not yet ready to have one. The couple has been having heated arguments over the issue for the past few months. Unable to understand why Nupur doesn’t want a baby, Alankar walked out on her one morning and did not return home. He has even stopped taking Nupur’s calls now. Our source, close to the couple, says, “He knew from the beginning that Nupur was not too keen on having babies. But they have been married for six years and one can understand his point of view. Alankar always felt that Nupur would come around but right now Nupur is completely focussed on her work.”
After Twinkle Bajpai was replaced by Gunjan Walia and Yuvraj Malhotra was killed in the show, Neeta Shetty who played Gauri also quit and now it’s the veteran actress Rohini Hattangady who has quit Creative Eye’s Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. She is the fourth actor who has bid adieu to the show.It is also heard that two more actors, Nupur Alankaar and Kartik Sabharwal have gone missing in the show.And as wickets continue to fall the fifth one could be that of Yatin Karyekar who plays the patriarch in the show. It has been heard that he has given his notice period to the production house and apparently will not be seen from next month. When contacted the actor said, “I am in Simla and you can call me on 10th for the same.”
Yuvraj Malhotra fans still cannot digest the fact that they wouldn’t get to see their fave hero Karan in Zee TV’s Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan anymore.A month ago, we had reported that the actor was to bid adieu to Betiyaan. After which a reliable source had told us that Yuvraj was leaving as the channel wanted him to concentrate on his upcoming show Waaris.A few days before the launch of Waaris, we met the actor on the sets and popped the 10 crore question – Was it the channel that asked you to leave Betiyaan for Waaris?
Having suffered his torments since a long time, they take the extreme step of throwing him in the fire, the way he did earlier to Savitri. “My character Bhavishya is going to die and there are many new things that are going to unfold in the show,” says Kartik. After Bhavishya’s death, he will be seen only as Ranbir, who is Bhavishya’s duplicate.Kartik Sabharwal’s character Bhavishya in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan is going to die in the coming episode. He gets killed by all the four daughters in the show. 
If sources are to be believed then all is not well on the sets of Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan and the reason is none other than assistant director Raj. A source from the production house says that the director trusts Raj, the assistant director of the show blindly and he tends to misguide. Our source says, “It was only recently when Tanushree Kaushal aka Maineka had to apologise to Prasad, when he was misinformed by his favourite assistant director Raj. At times, Raj doesn’t inform some actors of the call-time which eventually results in delays and chaos, but tells Prasad that he has informed them. Now since Prasad trusts him blindly he doesn’t pay heed to actors who have a different story to tell.”
Nupur Alankar had a painful experience while shooting for Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. Our khabroo present on the sets informs us that the actress was seen rushing outside the shooting location holding her eye. It left everyone present on the location wondering if it was some bad news that had forced her to run from the shooting. Later, everyone realised that the actress had hurt her right eye while shooting a sequence of Betiyaan and had left the location in pain.
Tellychakkar caught up with the spunky girl recently.She first appeared on the small screen as a participant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. After that there has been no looking back for her. In her contract with Zee TV for two years, she was offered a role in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan. So acting happened toherabsolutely by chance. She says that in the beginning she did not have the minutest idea about acting. Today, she is exploring new avenues of her life and is all set to go places with her talent.
