Naveen Saini fractures his hand during filming

Naveen Saini who plays Vineet in Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai has broken his right hand. The actor got a hair line fracture and tore his ligament while jumping from a wall in one of the sequences. But that hasn’t stopped the actor from shooting for his serial.“It happened last week. We were shooting for the sequence where Malti asks me to jump from a wall and enter the house like Ranbir came to meet Ragini. So I climbed the wall and when I tried to jump, I fell down. I was unconscious for some time and they had to splash some water on my face,” says Naveen.
Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan - Bidaai’s stars - collected their second straight award for being the best actresses on TV. The girls play Sadhna and Ragini in the Star serial. We spoke to Sara after the Telly Awards over the weekend and she attributed their success to teamwork.”It is all because of our unity and love and affection that we share that we’ve triumphed,” said Sara, “we never compare one with the other. That is the only secret behind our success, I guess.” After her boyfriend Ali, Sara says that Parul is the “most important person in my life.”
Sadhna (Sara Khan) and Ragini (Parul Chauhan) of Bidaai (STAR Plus) are good on-screen as well as off-screen friends… so close that Parul is fasting with Sarah through the entire month of Ramzan this year.Parul says she was moved to doing this when Sara spoke to her about her discipline.“When Sara told me about Ramzan and how the fast was meant to be kept through the whole day and broken only in the evening after reading Namaz, I decided that I will do it this time with her”, says Parul.She normally keeps Navratri fasts every year, and so this year will have two long fasts to keep.
Manish Naggdev who shot to fame as Chinu in Dulhann is all set to make a cameo appearance in Star Plus’ Bidaai. The actor will get married to Parul Chauhan aka Ragini who is in love with Kinshuk Mahajan who plays Ranbir Rajvansh.A well-placed source informs, “Manish will be introduced in the show opposite Ragini and his family will reportedly approach Ragini’s family with a marriage proposal. He will start shooting from the 27th of this month and his entry will be aired a week later. This will be a love triangle”Rajan Shahi, producer of the show, adds, “We are introducing a new family in the show and Manish will play Shishir, the son. This is a cameo which may become a full-length role. The family plays an important role in Ragini’s love life.”
Sara Khan who plays Sadhna in Bidaai was hospitalized for four days because of viral fever. Sara is back home and recovering, her beau Ali Merchant told us. “She had high viral fever and it was not decreasing at all. So we had to admit her,” Ali said, “the doctor was worried she might have dengue. But finally that turned out not to be the case, and after a treatment she recovered.””Sara came home two days ago and she was in Saraswati Hospital at Kandivali (Mumbai),” Ali said, “we admitted her there because it was close to my location and I could go there between shoots.”After work, loving Ali would spent the night next to his ailing girlfriend. “I used to stay there with her at night. My friend was doctor over there, so I was quite relaxed about it.” 
The lead actor of Bidaai, Angad Hasija was thrilled to see his fan-following in Agra where they were shooting recently. An animated Angad shares his first brush with stardom.“People used to come in hordes and used to scream our names. It was such a high as I have never experienced such a thing ever in my life. They waited for our autographs. I remember there were some people who starting thumping on our vanity-van doors to meet us. They even told the production guys that we have become their idols. We had to ultimately come out and meet them. There was this lady who came to me with her daughter’s proposal. She was insisting on me marrying her so I told her that I am a schizophrenic but she said that she likes me for whatever I am and was adamant that I get married to her daughter.”
Kinshuk Mahajan, known as Ranvir in Bidaai, returned from Agra on September 8 where he and his on screen lady love Ragini (Parul Chauhan) shot for a romantic sequence near Taj Mahal. Kinshuk gave us details about it.Explaining the sequence, he says, “Ragini and I are going to meet each other. So far in the show we have not met each other, and our love bloomed on phone calls. There will also be a romantic song.”Kinshuk, who saw the Taj Mahal for the first time, exclaims, “It is such a great monument. Now I realize why it is included in the Seven Wonders of the World. I would surely like to go there with someone special in the future. It is truly a symbol of love. It was a long schedule for us which lasted for eight days so we got to see this wonder everyday.”
Two weeks back Bidaai team celebrated its success party. Parul Chauhan, better known as Ragini of Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, tells us more. “It is great that we are the number one show. We are also happy that we have completed a year. We never thought that the show will reach this position,” she says.How has the show’s success changed her life? “I have never changed. I am the same from day one. I am as simple as I was .Success has not gone to my head at all. The only thing that has changed is that people now recognize wherever I go and behave nicely with me. I feel very good to receive such reactions and support from them.”
