A furious Malaika thrashes Delnaaz and Rupali for their performance.Every Monday has a special episode called zara hatke. This time the theme of the episode was to convey emotions through a song.”The boys succeeded in this round. Bakhtiyar gained accolades from the audience as well as the judges. As per the theme, Delnaaz and Rupali had to dance and convey their emotions without any song. Rupali and Delnaaz acted as sisters (Rupali being blind), gave a heart wrenching performance but some how they failed to impress Malaika and Chunky,” says our khabroo.
Jhanvi Cheddha,who played the gutsy Sameera in Star One’s Choona Hai Aasmaan is back after a break with Zee’s new serial, Maa.Produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann fame, Maa will depict the sacrifices made by the mother in keeping her family in good stead. Chitrapama Banerjee, who was earlier seen in Kamini Damini will be playing the mother while Amar Upadhyay will be seen as her husband.Talking about the story, Shyamshis Banerjee, Producer, Shakuntalam Telefilms says, “The story begins with Chitrapama and Amar leading a happy life with three kids, who are aged in the range of 10-12 years. I can’t reveal more than this at the moment!!”. While Vineet Raina plays the younger brother of Amar Upadhyay, Jhanvi Cheddha will be playing Amar’s sister. 
One bad week for Chaitanya Choudhury sees him cooling his heels in the penalty bench in Star One’s Zara Nachke Dikha. But the actor seems to be more concerned about his injured back which has been giving him trouble for the past few weeks. “I have injured my lower lumbar region. I already had back problems but it got worse when I fell on my ankle in a chair act during the technical rehearsals. My doctor has advised me clearly to take rest”, quips the actor. The ‘Tez Talwars’ ended up losing the battle to ‘Meethi Churis’ this week and with this, Chaitanya finds himself in the penalty bench. When asked about his face-off with Mouni Roy, the actor says, “Well, I don’t want to say anything on that as I feel that I gave my best shot. My injury is certainly not a reason for this”. So will we be seeing Chaitanya get to his dancing best in the battle of sexes? “I will take it bit easy in the coming week, but I am sure I will be back in action soon. To tell you frankly, I can’t wait to be fully fit and dance again”, concludes Chaitanya..
There is a lot of action happening in Zara Nachke Dikha on Star One. The latest buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be on the sets of Zara… to promote their upcoming movie Bachna Aye Haseeno.This episode will be telecast next Monday (August 11). A source from the show informed, “Deepika will sit with the girls and Ranbir with the boys . To be different from other dance reality shows, the producers did not want the guests to be on the judge’s chair. Hence, this star couple joined the war of boys v/s girls.

The bubbly Rupali Ganguly is currently one busy actress. Juggling between her two shows Ek Packet Umeed and Zara Nach Ke Dikha Rupali just about manages to catch her forty winks and cuddle up to her pet dogs. Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah on Star One will once again make some twists and turns in their show due to some alleged practical difficulties.The buzz is that Amir Dalvi’s character is to be winded up along with the dhaba track.This is due to the persistent illness of the cast and crew members who have been shooting in Film City in this unfriendly climate. It is now heard that in order to change the set, the creative team is changing the story.Creative director Annuneha informs, “Yes we are planning to wind up the dhaba track and Amir’s character but we are still working on the idea.”
Priyamvada who was last seen in Meri Doli Tere Angna and Puneet who was last seen in Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai will be seen in the upcoming episode of the episodic show Shhh…Phir Koi Hai. Both the actors were looking for something different after these shows went off air. Puneet Sachdev had to leave Meri Doli in between as he was unhappy with the way his character was shaping up.This new episode of Shhh…Phir Koi Hai is going to be telecast on August 1. Puneet is playing the role of a blind boy who has an ability to sense the evil. Priyamvada is playing a homely girl.This is the fourth time that Puneet will be seen in this show and Priyamvada is doing it for the second time. Puneet said, “One gets to do different things in episodic shows. In my first episode, I played a tapori, for the second one, I played a serious village boy, for the third episode, I played a regular daily soap type of a husband and this time I am playing the role of a blind boy.” Priyamvada said, “Puneet and me play childhood buddies and there is a romantic connection between us but we do not disclose our feelings.”
