The dashing Apoorva Agnihotri, who will very soon opt out of SET’s Kaajal is toying with the idea of becoming a singer, “Yes, I love to croon, and the success of fellow Jassi co star Vikas Bhalla, who recently launched his latest album, Mehek Teri, has tempted me to take a plunge in the above art form” .Appu further says, “I have decided to make Vikas my guru and learn the fine arts of the above trade from him”.

Coming back to Kaajal, what went wrong, “I just could not accept the upcoming reincarnation track, and besides, the 8 pm week day slot is not popular enough for a daily. The channel had initially promised us a 9 o clock slot, so it was a bit disappointing”.

So what’s next on the idiot box ? Apoorva has really no idea, “Like Osho said, walk into the unknown with a smile. Having said that, I would be quite happy to anchor a show, it can be anything, a chat or a reality talent show”.

Kaajjal lovers will witness a double tragedy on the show. It has been learnt that the lead couple, Kaajjal and Dev will both be killed in the show. Not just that, there may be a 20-year-leap too, with some reincarnation story thrown in. “It is still not clear if any of the two will return to the serial, but Apoorva, in all probability, will not come back.” says a source.

In the show, Dev (Apoorva) has been suspecting Kaajjal (Surveen) and almost killed her just a few episodes ago. It is a clear indication that the character’s track is likely to end very soon. If insiders are to be believed the creative team of the serial has taken a decision on ending the two characters’ tracks and the serial taking a 20-year leap.

The grave vine is rife with the rumours of Sony’s “Kaajal - sabki aankhon me basi” being pulled off air, following what seems like Apoorva Agnihotri’s reluctance to continue with the show any further. If sources are to be believed, then the show might make an abrupt exit by next month.

Surveen Chawla, the beautiful protagonist of Kaajal, is quick to deny this. ” I have no news of any such thing happening. If it was true, then I would certainly have gotten some intimation,” she says quite matter of factly.

Item Numbers have transcended the borders of bollywood to make a permanent place in the never ending sagas that assault out senses one after the other on the small screen.

The latest addition is the Crazy Kiya re number in the popular show Kaajal.

The sexy model and actress of tele world Nigaar Z. Khan will be seen sizzling to the tunes of ‘Crazy Kiya Re’ in a special appearance in the show Kaajal on Tuesday night. Interestingly Nigaar will be introduced as herself and will perform this number for just one episode. The show which currently revolves around a wedding sequence where the main lead are to be married. As is the trend, it has a series of dance performances and functions taking place in the show.
