Recently it was reported that Juhi Parmar was in with a wild card entry in Comedy Circus 2 and was eliminated in the next round. Between her entry and exit one of the contestants got furious and it’s none other than Kamya Punjabi aka Sindoora.
The reel life vamp seemed to turn real life one when she heard of Juhi’s entry. “She was very angry and was planning to make halla back stage. She was so angry that Kamya ended up exhorting others to support her against Juhi,” says our khabroo.

A reliable source informs, “Juhi Parmar and last year’s finalist VIP (Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar) were given a wild card entry. Expectedly, VIP’s entry raised a few brows among other contestants but the duo was eventually allowed to perform. However, it was a short stay for them as they were eliminated on their first day of shoot.”There’s something really ‘wild’ about Juhi Parmar. Last year, she was supposed to enter as the wild card and the eleventh contestant mid-way through Nach Baliye 3 but had to back out after other contestants took offence to this largesse. In 2008, Juhi accepted this largesse from Sony’s Comedy Circus 2 but was eliminated on the first day itself.

Himani Kapoor yet again plays a prank on co-host Karan Oberoi, on the sets of Titan Antakshari. Read on to catch up to all the action…
Post the exit of the little champs, Zee’s Titan Antakshri is now taken over by the young college students of India. With the Inter-collegiate championship in full swing, shoots have become a one of a kind, roller coaster ride for the hosts Karan Oberoi and Himani Kapoor. Himani’s non stop pranks on Karan, have added the much needed entertainment factor to the show and after the rakhi incident, where Karan did whatever it took, to avoid the Rakhi that Himani got for him, Himani now got all the girl participants of the show to play a prank on him.
As a part of the game, the college girls just had to take Karan’s coat off. But Himani in turn asked these girls to go ahead and strip him off. Himani cheered as these girls got carried away, then started pulling his clothes from all ends. Poor Karan got nervous and was utterly shocked when the girls completely stripped him off. Karan was too embarrassed to do anything.
Some of the production house people had to come and rescue the poor guy. Well, will this stop Himani from the pranks? Or will the fun and masti continue the same way? Well, to catch all the dhamaal, tune in to Titan Antakshari, only on Zee TV!

It’s a battle of wits, pun & quips between the two best jodis for the title as the laugh riot draws curtains in it’s finale. Slide Shows!
Did you ever imagine that the chocolate boy Swapnil Joshi, best remembered as Krishna, could look like Rakhi Sawant, Mandira Bedi! Remember Kamal, (Ali Asgar) the lovable & charming devar of tellywood! He excelled himself playing Sohni of Sohni Mahiwali, Aamir Khan of Mangal Pandey…or even Urvashi Dholakia known as the ‘eternal vamp’ of small screen playing a housewife, or Om alias Kiran Karmarkar with his straight-face acts; Comedy Circus has managed to bring out the comic streak and break out the other side of these personalities.
Now, after 12 weeks of non-stop entertainment, Comedy Circus has reached its Finale with 2 jodis – Swapnil Joshi & VIP and Ali Asgar & Kashif Khan, battling for the coveted trophy of Comedy Circus this September 8 at 9.30 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.

This week, Saturday September 1, Comedy Circus will have Swapnil as Madira Bedi (Liquor in English), he does a take on actor Mandira Bedi (she was to be part of the show but dropped out last minute) and his stand up comedian partner VIP is ‘New Joke Singh Buddhu’ (Navjot Singh Siddhu). Their act digs at Navjot Siddhu’s continuous and infectious laughter (even if it’s not funny), Mandira Bedi’s sarees, cricket and her famous noodle straps (actually hakka noodles according to them).
Celebrity guest Preethi Jhangiani was completely in splits, she said “This act was one of the finest mimicries I have seen, as an actor I know it’s tough for a man to play woman and I must say Swapnil played it effortlessly. Their jokes were topical with good detailing of the characters portrayed. I love the Mandira’s hakka noodle strap joke!”
Watch out for Swapnil Joshi –VIP and Ali Asgar –Kashif Khan battle it out in the semi-finals of Comedy Circus this September 1 at 9.30 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.

The first season of Comedy Circus (Sony) will soon announce its winner. According to reliable sources, Tellywood’s favourite ‘devar’ Ali Asgar and Kashif Khan have been crowned the kings of guffaws. It seems they beat Swapnil Joshi and VIP by a very close margin of votes. Both Asgar and producer Vipul Shah refused to confirm the news.
The semi final, this week, will have Bollywood actress Preeti Jiangiani and comedian Surinder Sharma as the celebrity guests. And, the finale, to be aired on September 8, will have Shakti Kapoor, Tusshaar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shivaji Satam as the celebrity guests.
A unique format of television stars paired with a stand-up comedian, Comedy Circus has managed to get good viewership and ratings for Sony. The channel has decided to continue to capture eyeballs after the finale by showing six extensions for the six weeks after the finale. It will end when Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s second season will go on air. Sources confirm that these are mere extensions and not the second season of Comedy Circus.

Karishma Tanna has been possessed by spirits and Ali-Kashif went for a sex change. If you all don’t believe me then watch Sony Channel on 18th August at 9.30 pm to witness all the drama, action and yes be ready to laugh all the way.
In the thematic round of Comedy Circus where one comedian from the Jodi has to remain mute while the other do the talking, Karishma Tanna –Khayali bounced back with ‘by far the most hilarious performance’ of being possessed by spirits of different filmstars and Khayali plays a no-brainer Tantrik, trying his best to drive away the spirits! We must say Khayali finally got his minutes of fame here with Karishma having to be mute in the act! If nothing else Khayali might just impress the Ramsay’s and land a role in one of their ‘oh so funny’ horror films.
Ali-Kashif one with the lowest score in their first few episodes are now experimenting with different characters to impress the judges with their antics. Ali-Khasif turns women where Ali is Soni (Soni Mahiwal fame) and Kashif plays Moni (a struggling village girl). Their act of ‘ Soni –Moni’ of 2 pregnant women wanting to commit suicide was appreciated by the judges so much that Archana suggested they were better of being women. Kasif said “Unlike other jodis (Urvashi-Shakeel, Karihma-Khayali) where one is a female and the other male, they decided to fill in by taking turns in playing woman. Who says there aren’t too many women in stand -up comedy, Comedy Circus has had most men turn into women!
