When you have contestants of equal calibre and talent reaching the top five, its always leaves a lump in your throat to bid adieu to one of them, as you reach the lst leg of the show. Same has happened on Indian Idol 5.The latest contestant to get the boot from the show is Shivam Pathak. Touted as one of the most talented contestants, his elimination came as a shocker to both the judging trio and his co-contestants.Informs a source, “Indian Idol had to bid adieu to one of its most talented singers in Shivam this week. Shivam was also the favourite of renowned musician and singer Shankar Mahadevan. He has been belting out stupendous performances week after week. His eviction left everyone teary-eyed and surprised on the show. One didn’t expect him to exit the show but then all other contestants are equally talented. There was no celebrity guest fos this episode. Next week we will have yesteryear superstar Dharmendra on the show.”
