Singh will play a woman in the serial. Vicky, in a young woman’s get-up, will get to spend some time with his girlfriend Devika played by Barkha Madan (Manjeet of Bhoot). Vicky aka Vinod Singh employs the oldest trick in the book to hook the girl he desires. Actor Vinod Singh (Ayushman fame) who plays Vicky in Ajai Sinha’s Ghar Ek Sapna.

Vinod Singh says, “In the serial I am in love with Devika but I don’t get to spend enough time with her. So, when she is going out on a picnic Vicky dresses up as a woman just to be with her.

Sayantani Ghosh, popularly known as Kakul (of Ghar Ek Sapna fame) is upbeat about her new role..that of an ‘Icchadaari Naagin’, a la Sridevi!

Hailing from Kolkata, Sayantani Ghosh came to Mumbai in pursuit of a career in the Hindi entertainment industry. With dreams unlimited and a will to make a name for herself, Sayantani approached some prominent production houses and in her first attempt itself, was offered the role of Antara, in BAG’s Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. After a short stint in the afternoon soap, she bagged a lead role in Ghar Ek Sapna..and there was no looking back.

Having just shot for Aroona Irani’s new serial to be aired on Zee TV, Sayantani is excited about the show where she plays the title role. Telly Buzz caught up with the actress to find out more about the show and her character..

Sayantani Ghosh is the latest victim of the ubiquitous channel wars. The actress who is playing the female lead on Sahara One’s Ghar Ek Sapna has simultaneously signed for Naagin on Zee. Needless to say, Sahara One is not happy with the new development and is planning to sack Sayantani from Ghar Ek Sapna.

Says a source from the production house, “Actors cannot simultaneously play the lead roles on two channels as the novelty factor goes away. So, when Sayantani signed up for Aroona Irani’s Naagin on Zee, Sahara One was left fuming.”
