Sanjit Bedi steps into Rajdeep’s character in Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivaah post Vikas Sethi decided to quit.Sanjit, who has done a couple of hit shows in the past, was excited to work with the Vivaah team after getting a brief about his role. When contacted Sanjit said, “After production house read out the script to me there was no reason for me to not accept the offer. Vivaah serial has a beautiful story that highlights a social message and I am glad that I am part of such a team.

Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah’, the new daily soap to launch on Zee TV, starting April 21st is the tale of a parents’ struggle whose desire is to get their daughters married into respectable families. The serial which will kick-off at the 7 pm slot replacing Shreya Creations’ Har Ghar Kuchh Kehta Hai has a mixed bag of experienced actors as well as new faces. Playing the parents are the talented Himani Shivpuri and Raju Kher, while Sonali, Parivaa Pranati, Shalini Chandran and Roopal play the daughters. Parivaa who was last seen in Sony’s Salaam Zindgi plays the second daughter of the family Trishna who is very frank and speaks her mind. Talking about her role, Parivaa states, “I love my parents and sisters a lot, but I am a person who has a mind of her own. I am very rigid in my thoughts, and do not budge to the family pressures forcing me to agree for marriage”.
