Kelkar, who is famous for his role as Nahar in Saat Phere, is back to work, and this time in Ekta Kapoor’s new show, Bairi Piya, that will air on Colors.An Indya source says, “Sharad is a fine actor and famous with viewers. The character he is playing suits him. His look is rough, which is what is needed in the serial. The show deals with the plight of farmers in Maharashtra, who are suffering through a drought. He plays an important character, which will surely be remembered by his fans.” Shooting has begun for the show which will premiere next week on Colors.
