Known for his forthrightness Manoj Tiwari has done it again. This time he accuses judges on the show Chak De Bachche which he hosts for not paying attention to Desi Dhurandhar’s performance and giving them fewer marks. “It may be recalled that the judges most of the time end up supporting Metro Rockers and leave Manoj Tiwari to defending his team,” says our source“His only hope was from Desi Dhurandhar team of Deepak and Nishtha when performing to Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karenge which was selected by Raveena Tandon. But the judges were not-so-pleased with their performance and the result was less marks,” adds the source.

Sakshi Tanwar played the character of Ganga in Ekta Kapoor’s Kahaani Hamaarey Mahaabhaarat Ki. We spoke to her about the role, the difficulties she faced while shooting for it in Ladakh, on Manish Malhotra’s designs and her two films.
How interesting was it to play Ganga, since it’s a very brief though important role?
Ganga was indeed a very interesting role to play for two reasons. First the length of the role was not much so whatever I had to do was in the three-four scenes that I had. Second, Ganga was all about the aura and mystique of the river Goddess in the human form. So in a way it was a challenge to get the right combination and I hope I have lived up to it. Though short it was an experience I will always cherish.

After a brief hide and seek about its flagship shows like Mere Apne and Jiya Jale, 9x has finally come out in open to clear the air. It has been announced by the channel that Mere Apne produced by Smriti Irani’s Ugraya Entertainment finally goes off air.According to a source from the production house the show will be pulled off air this month end or August beginning.When contacted producer Smriti reverted through sms stating that “Best speak to the channel.”However Indrani Mukerjea, Founder & CEO, INX Media, said, “We are hoping to entertain our viewers with Fresher, Bigger, and Better shows as we go along.

Salman Khan has displaying his generous nature again. During a 10 Ka Dum (Sony) episode which was shot last week, he gave away Rs 1 lakh to a sweeper, from his own pocket. The BMC sweeper from Akola, who participated in the reality show, was heartbroken after he was eliminated. Sallu noticed how upset he was and after hearing about his financial problems, asked his driver to get Rs 1 lakh for him. An eyewitness says, “The sweeper was very excited about being on the show, but his face fell after he was eliminated. Salman approached him and asked him what was wrong.”

The lady is going to make a cameo appearance in Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah which will run for a span of two weeks.Stand – up comedians are finally getting their due. With the success of comedy shows stand-up comedians are also achieving much popularity. Where the likes of Sunil Pal and Raju Srivastava are being seen in movies, the others are accommodated in soaps.

Rajesh Bhatia, Creative Head of the show confirmed the news and said, “Aarti is playing the role of Maya who is a very warm and loving lady. She sympathises with Annu and Ashu who have eloped from their homes as their respective families are against their relationship. Maya feels for the couple as she too had fled from her home to marry the love of her life who is no more now.”

Elated over winning the reality show Yeh Hai Jalwa, Rakhi Sawant has decided that she will visit a temple to thank God.Rakhi, who defeated Hussain and Ronit Roy in the finale, admits the win has resorted her faith in the almightily. “Last time when I lost a final, I cried like anything and lost my belief on God. But now I realized that bhagwan ke ghar der hoti hai andher nahi. I am very happy that everyone helped me lot. I have never won any competition before this so my mother is also very pleased.”Talking about her victory which earned her 20 lakhs, she says, “I was shocked when my name was announced. I was confident about my performance but I was also aware that good performers never win. I just could not believe that I managed to defeat Hussain and Ronit.”
