Television actors Karan Grover and Kavita Kaushik had split after Nach Baliye’s third season as they were unable to handle the changes in their relationship over time. However, as time passed after their split, they are back on the party circuit together. Kavita, who plays a Haryanvi cop in FIR, and Karan (Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’s Rishab Rathod) are dating again.Favourites in the third season of Nach Baliye, Karan and Kavita had shocked their fans when they decided to part ways. But they are now dating again. Our source revealed, “Karan and Kavita are spotted at many events. They are trying their best to keep the news about them getting back together under wraps and only their close friends know about it. But then, for anyone who attends the same parties as they do, it’s not difficult to figure out that they’re dating.”
Following their tradition of picking fresh faces to star in their serials, Rajan Shahi’s new show Maat Pita Ke Charno Main Sawrg will see two young debutants from Delhi, Nikkhil Chaddha and Dheeraj Dhoopar. We spoke to Nikhil about his experience on the show.He talks about his first acting assignment, saying, “I was born in Mumbai and brought up in Delhi. I have been modeling for the past 3 years and have worked for bands such as ICICI, Pantaloons, HDFC Bank and Kingfisher. I got a call for this show and went for an audition. They were very happy with my look and told me that I suited the character. Later, we worked out the role and they gave me information about all the minute details. We had a workshop too.”
Rohit Bakshi, who plays Prince Ratan Singh in Rani Padmini, did not get any time to prepare himself for the role but he’s been learning tons on the sets. Indya found out why and much more during our chat with him.“I was finalised and within 3 days I started shooting for the show so I did not get the time to prepare. In my first scene, I had to sword fight. There was no chance for me to learn beforehand so I just did a few rehearsals and went for it,” he says Rohit also admits that he was scared riding a horse for the first time. He adds, “I have not been trained to ride a horse but I have ridden one in the past. Still, it was scary riding with a sword. Now I practice on the sets. I’ve learnt sword fighting and I ride the same horse because he should be familiar with the person riding him.”
Well, various celebrity names continue to pop up for Sony’s adventure-based reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, to be held in the jungles of Malaysia, even as we get to hear that the final celebrity list will be finalized in a day or two. According to our source, “The latest on this is that, Bollywood celebrities Aditya Panscholi, the macho man son of Mithun Da, Mimoh Chakraborty and handsome hunk Upen Patel have been approached for the show”.Other names which have been tossed up for the show include Shweta Tiwari, Mouli Ganguly, Ruby Bhatia, Deepal Shaw, Karan Wahi, Fiza Chand, Chetan Hansraj, Aman Verma, Faizal Khan, Antara Mali etc.

Salman Khan believes in having his way. For the promotion of Anil Kapoor’s Short Kut, the episode was scheduled to feature Akshaye Khanna and producer Anil Kapoor. Khan thought that Akshaye will be boring on the show. So, he insisted on having Arshad Warsi instead of Akshaye to make the show interesting.A source said, “The distributor had spoken to the channel to have Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna on the show. Everything went as per plan until Salman came up with the suggestion that Arshad Warsi and not Akshaye Khanna should be on the show with Salman Khan. Going by the promos of the film and Akshaye’s serious image, Salman thought that Akshaye cannot add enough spice to the show. Since Anil and Salman are good friends, Anil was okay with Salman’s suggestions. The dates of Anil and Arshad are now being worked out for the show.”
Ashita Dhawan, who has entertained us with her fine histrionics with the character of Maalti Bhabhi in Bidaai throws a surprise by sharing her secret ambition with us.Ashita says, “From childhood, I have had this fascination for Radio Jockeying. I have imagined myself in my room as an RJ and have stood in front of the mirror jabbering away like one.She adds, “My friends also tell me that I talk so much that I should rather be an RJ than an actor.”Well, dream comes true for Ashita as she has bagged her first opportunity on radio. “I’m doing two back-to-back interviews on radio, today and tomorrow with Radio Mirchi. I never dreamed of being on the other side but however I’m glad that I’m getting to visit the studio.”
